Bath House and Power Station
The scheme looks at opportunities for infrastructure and provides non- conventional ways to incorporate sustainable power generation and how it can complement the functions of a bathhouse.

Located along the River Soar in Leicester the site once housed a Roman bathhouse, but in recent years withstood intense industrialisation which has since polluted the soil. This is combated via a process known as hyperaccumulators which use silver birch and Brassicaceae to remove high contraction metals from the soil over time. The location utilises hydro-power relating to the deep relationship with water and embeds itself into the site to create an elegant and complementary building. Open circulation throughout the building mimics the rapids allowing users to move freely to their destination.
